Today is a good day. We had an interview with a stylist for our Bridal Team that went really well. She has been doing hair for a long time and I think she will work out great! One down, one to go. I only want to send them out as a team. Weddings are way too much stress to do alone. We have another interview on Thursday so if it goes well too I will be soooo happy! Lindsey and Christina are our stylists today. Lindsey is finishing up a dark brown color with peek-a-boo highlights in the front. Very cute. She has a partial highlight processing. Christina has done a couple of hair cuts and is finishing a highlight with gray coverage touch-up. Brittany is coming in later for 1 appointment only. It is her day off but she is leaving for vacation and is trying to get everyone in before she goes. She called Stacie and asked since she is coming in on her day off for one appointment could she wear her hat? “It looks cute I promise.” I have a strict rule against wearing hats at work even if she does look cute. We have gone around in circles about this for years. One of our stylists worked a Sunday before I had a chance to go over dress code with her and she wore a hat. Brittany called me and asked what she should do. She said “Leigh Ann is wearing a hat today and I just didn’t want you to come in and be upset. Do you want me to ask her to take it off?” Then she went on with “but it is a cute hat if you want to start letting us wear hats that would be okay.” No such luck but good try!
