Okay I am starting to slip a little with the blog posts so I will try to be better. I am not here very much on Saturday and Sunday so it is hard for me to post what is happening. I keep asking the stylists to add something and it is starting to make me a little nervous that none of them have anything to add. Wonder what really happens when I am not here? They have always told me that the minute I walk out the door a disco ball comes down and they start partying. Starting to wonder if there is any truth to that. If anyone stops by on the weekend and there is a party going on please let me know. I am going to be really upset if I am not invited, I invite them when I plan a party here lol.  So here is what I do know about the weekend. Meggie did a few trial updos for weddings that are coming up. She did some very pretty styles.  Savanah, Leigh Ann and Eddie worked on Saturday with Lindsey assisting. Lindsey really does great work and does not need to assist but on Saturday we don’t have an open station so she just helps out. On Monday and Tuesday she is on her own. Last week she had a mother and daughter get cut and colors and they loved her so much that they called later and told Stacie how much they love their hair and they would be referring lots of people to her. Maybe they will win this referral contest! On a negative note we did have an unhappy client last week and that doesn’t make me happy. She had an appointment with Brittany on Thursday at 7pm. We could see that Brittany was overbooked and started trying to call her on Tuesday to try to change her appointment as all of the other clients on Brittany’s book had been there for 6 weeks.  She did not return any of our phone calls and Brittany thought she could keep up because she had Lindsey working with her so we just left the appointment. But when Thursday got here Brittany was running almost an hour behind so we called the client again and asked if we could move her to Savanah so that she would not have to be here until midnight. She agreed and came in for Savanah to highlight her hair. Color is not an exact science and does not always turn out the way we expect and this is one of those times. The highlights turned out a little gold and Savanah suggested a toner. The client was scheduled to come back on Friday. She called Friday and said she did not want to let Savanah tone it, she just wanted her money back. This would have been a simple fix so we refused a refund without her allowing us the opportunity to tone it first. She apparently did not like that answer and has posted a negative review online that is not true. I do not think that it is fair people can post a review like that without it being verified. Anyone can say anything online and can really hurt a business’ reputation for no real reason. No fair but not everything in life is fair. Well I am off my soap box now. We have lots of happy, fun clients and cannot let one nasty person get us down. Thank you everyone that comes in and makes us happy to do hair everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
