Rhonda’s Hair Studio- year 2

So, if you have time to read my very long page about year one you will see that it has not been a great year. I am starting year 2 with a different attitude about a lot of my business. Hiring the right people is obviously the main problem I have had and this year I will do my best to only hire people that I want to work with. I have been doing what I call “crisis” hiring when I absolutely need a stylist so I pretty much hire anyone that comes in with some color experience. I deserve better than this and so does my very loyal clientele. We may turn away some clients for a while but in the end I want a strong salon of employees that come to work everyday ready to put personal problems aside for a few hours, do great color and give the clients a great experience, work hard, have some fun and go home. That is it- the entire job description. I do not want to babysit and have to micromanage to get things done. I have a life outside of the salon and refuse to live everyday waiting for the next uproar to start over stupid little things. This year I will take control of my business and more importantly who works in it.  It has to get better than this! Rhonda’s Hair Studio is a great little salon where stylists can make a great income if they are willing to work for it. I will not hand everything to anyone again but would love to help anyone that wants to help themselves. So keep following us- this will be a great year!!!!!!
